  37. A couple of ideas, the Sportster is a class 1 modem, is this the version
  38. you have running of GPFax? Have you tried running something like DosTrace or
  39. SnoopDos to see what is being called and what is happening? Did you use (or
  40. has the modem config changed) from what is in the back of the manual? My
  41. modem is a Sportster 28.8k v34+ and I had some problems with the config
  42. changing when I closed the 'Environment screen' in GPFax. Also, my son
  43. 'experiments' at times and has been known to change my modem config by
  44. accident (from my term program no less). Have you completely uninstalled
  45. GPFax and tried re-installing it from scratch (including letting GPFax
  46. query the modem during the install)?
